KIERRA SHADÉ

Kierra grew up in the Carolinas and attended Duke University, where she studied psychology and music. She now calls California home for over a decade and currently lives and creates in Oakland. Although she has leaned on creative expression through dance, music, and art her entire life, in May 2023, she officially embarked on her journey as a fluid abstract artist, honoring her lineage, loved ones, and the inner creative calling that had always been within her.

With a lifelong connection to creative expression, Kierra creates luminous fluid abstract paintings inspired by nature, the divine, and the unseen energies that connect us. Working with intuitive movement, color, and materials such as alcohol ink, high-flow acrylics, resin, watercolor, and 24-karat gold, her artwork captures moments of presence, emotion, and flow. Exploring the relationship between humanity and the divine, her paintings are not only meant to be seen—but deeply felt.

Kierra is also passionate about personal growth and creative empowerment. Through workshops and retreats, she creates sacred spaces for others to reconnect with their innate creativity, explore self-expression, and awaken a deeper connection to themselves.
