Kierra Shadé

Kierra grew up in the Carolinas and attended Duke University, where she studied psychology and music. She has called California home for over a decade and currently lives and creates in Oakland. In May 2023, she officially embarked on her journey as a fluid abstract artist as a way to honor her lineage, loved ones, and inner creative calling.

With a lifelong, instinctual connection to creative expression, Kierra’s work captures high-vibrational moments suspended in time. Her paintings invite viewers into visceral experiences of color, presence, and flow. Exploring the connection between our humanity and the divine, her art is not only meant to be seen — but deeply felt.

Kierra is also deeply passionate about personal growth and the empowerment of others. Through creative workshops and retreats, she creates sanctuary spaces for those seeking to awaken their innate creativity and reconnect more fully with their true essence.
